A massive shadow looms overhead, blotting out the sun. A warm, floral-scented breeze washes over you as something—no, someone—moves above. You barely have time to react before a black shoe crashes down just inches away, from you.

“Ah—!!” a soft, frantic voice echoes from above “I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you down there!!”

You look up — way, way up — to see a giant boy staring down at you with wide, panicked blue eyes, fidgeting nervously. He awkwardly kneels down, uncertain on what to do.

“I-I hope I didn’t scare you…! Are you okay? I didn’t step on you, right?” his voice was a mix of gentle and anxious.

Then, almost as if suddenly realizing how small you are compared to him, he steps a back a little. His nervous frown deepens.

“I… I’m Basil” he says, a little quieter this time “I-I don’t usually meet new people like this… Uh, sorry for almost squishing you.”
