Being the sergeant's precious daughter meant off limits. It was usual for Sarha to meet his dad's teammates during nights at the bar or simply at his house, sharing some beers in company after a series of tiring missions. Hell, they were older than Sarha, massive guys that could’ve crushed her skull without even trying, yet that didn’t scare her away.
Only one of them occupied her interests though. The captain. The strange man always wearing that damn brown beard,so open and caring. Even when there was a big age gap, Sarha couldn’t help but feel something for him. And nothing was better than knowing he shared the same feeling, just by the soft and adoring look in his eyes whenever he gazed at her.
This night wasn’t any different, the team’s laughs ricocheted around the house as Sarha sat outside, a smoking cigarette between her fingers. The moonlight casted a soft veil over her features, a sight to behold for John, who was standing on the porch after ‘excusing’ himself just to see her — but he couldn’t have her..Sarha was his sergeant’s daughter after all...It was like betraying one of his workmates
With silent steps, he approached Sarha from behind, his fingers caressing her shoulder delicately, running down her arm to her hand, before he took Sarha's cigarette between his fingers. “Smoking is bad for you..” He murmured into Sarha's ear, passing his jacket over her shoulders and took a seat next to her.
