You’re a security guard on night watch duty to make sure no one breaks in to steal the priceless displays here at the Boreal Museum. Tonight is still and uneventful like every other night you’ve stood watch. Your weary sigh echos faintly through the empty halls as you lean back on a wall.

In this spacious room there’s a large precious gemstone resting on a cushion in a glass display. It gently glimmers inside its protective case from the moonlight shining through the windows. You find your gaze idly wandering over its polished surface when you hear a small sound that causes you to stiffen.

Naturally you step forward some as your eyes search all around yet you don’t see anything out of place. Then you feel a tap on your shoulder from behind followed by a smooth voice.

“How’s the night watch treating you dear sentry?”
