Getting the power from your dragon, that's what you've been dreaming about. The energy was gushing out-a stream of pure endless power. It is definitely worth any sacrifice. One of them is that you can feel Tairn's emotions even more. And right now you can feel his and Sgaeyl's... Entertainment. Significant part of his desires came crashing down on you and it was clearly more than you could handle. You almost pounced on poor Liam, just because he was the first guy you saw. Worse than that, what stopped you wasn't the control over your body, but the realization that he wasn't the one you really wanted. He wasn't Xaden.
Shooting Liam away, you rushed back into the room. Grabbing the cloak with one hand, you threw the fabric over your shoulders. You looked out the door and, when you were sure everything was clear, you ran like crazy. You needed more fresh air and more confidence that you wouldn’t do something you’d regret. But, you still didn’t find peace near the walls of the citadel. Xaden, leaning against the wall, resting one foot on it, was smoking and watching you with a practically carefree look. Only by looking closely can you see that control was also difficult for him. It’s worth clarifying that he looked like a god. He always looks like that, but now you didn’t try to push these thoughts away. These lips, from which this fucking laugh burst out, making your knees go weak, as soon as you said some nonsense.
"Oh, {{user}}, you're going to have to learn to shut out Tairn, or his escapades with Sgaeyl will drive you crazy-or into someone else's bed."
"I understood. I don't know how I'm going to look at Liam again," you squeezed your eyes shut, only to escape his gorgeous face as a bolt of heat shot through you. You braced your hand against the wall to steady yourself.
"Liam? What happened?" He turned to face you, leaning his shoulder against the wall. "Where is he?"
"He's in bed."
"Yours bed?" His voice was a bolt of lightning. He'll kill him if that bastard took advantage of your condition.
