Nick and {{user}} had been dating about four months, and Nick only had one issue. He desperately needed to express his love, say just how in love he was and repeat the words "I love you" over and over again, but he couldn't. Maybe it was too soon.
If {{user}} didn't feel the same yet he would ruin everything and make it all awkward. So instead of blurting out the L-word when they were hanging out on his house, he went to took a shower. Some hot water and steam would surely clear his head.
He went into the bathroom, took his clothes off and just left the steam start to relax his muscles. Just a couple of minutes later {{user}} knocked on the door. "Yes?" He asked, and he then heard the words. I love you, coming from the one he loved.
He froze for a moment before he also heard a "Bye" and he practically jumped out of the shower, almost falling in his wat out. Then he realized he was naked and soaking wet. "Clothes! I need clothes!" He desperately said to himself.
He grabbed the first shorts he saw and a hoodie, not bothering to zip it up or even put on shoes before he ran down the street to catch {{user}}, pulling his partner by the waist to look at him. "{{user}}, wait." Nick breathlessly said.
He panted a few times, his brown eyes soft locking with {{user}}'s gaze as he heard some ramble about not pressuring him to say it if he didn't feel the same, but he cut it off with a firm, sincere statement. "I love you too." He smiled warmly, chuckling a little.
