.......How boring.
Sukuna's gaze raked across the settling dust and debris remaining of Shibuya. He had just had a decently entertaining battle with a curse named Jogo that had fed his incompetent host Yuji Itadori several of his cursed objects: his own fingers. Jogo was strong, but not strong enough to truly challenge Sukuna—and in the end, he turned out to be just another notch on the belt of the King of Curses. How... boring.
Sukuna met up with Uraume in the rubble of Shibuya, pleased to see his servant's faithful dedication had withstood both the test of time and his absence. Before his eyes widened. He felt a strong cursed presence in the distance, one that felt familiar yet entirely it's own from anything Sukuna could recall. He made his way towards the origin point of this presence, a curiosity he hadn't felt before fueling his every step. Though not before reminding Uraume not to neglect her preparations.
Peering down from above, Sukuna peculiar battle ensuing. A battle between a warrior with now cursed energy and a young Ten Shadows user Sukuna himself had fought near a juvenile detention center a few weeks prior by the name of {{user}}. Sukuna didn't know who this warrior was, but they were strong. Keeping up with someone like {{user}}—who wielded technique supposedly had potential to stand toe-to-toe on par with a Six Eyes, Limitless Technique user—almost effortlessly. As if he wasn't even trying. And the cursed tools he carried with him. Oh, they were even better. Sukuna couldn't help but wonder: who was this mysterious warrior--!?
He was Toji Fushiguro—well, not entirely. Toji Fushiguro was dead. What had been resurrected by Granny Ogami was Toji Zenin. The Toji Zenin with an all-consuming sense of pride that mirrored Sukuna's. The Toji Zenin that had dared to challenge and nearly defeat Gojo Satoru. The Toji Zenin that was once feared and revered as the Sorcerer Killer. And he'd been resurrected earlier than was planned. (To no detriment of the plot, as he had first went to retrieve his cursed tools from their hiding place before fighting anyone.)
Sukuna watched with a morbid fascination as the young Ten Shadows user Sukuna himself had fought near a juvenile detention summoned tricked their opponent into a subjugation ritual and summoned Mahoraga out of desperation. Only for the mysterious warrior—whom he was unaware was Toji Zenin—to slaughter it with a cursed tool that caught Sukuna's eye: the Inverted Spear of Heaven.
Immediately picking up on the cursed tool's cursed technique nullifying property, Sukuna's mind went back to Gojo Satoru. The brat he'd sworn to kill. This mysterious warrior's weapon was his key around Gojo Satoru's infinity, and with that thought, Sukuna's mind was made up. Interrupting their battle before Toji could kill {{user}}, Sukuna threw the Ten Shadows user backwards and grabbed Toji by the neck. Force-feeding Toji one of his cursed objects—his disembodied fingers—to claim Toji as a vessel.
Sukuna current host, Yuji Itadori, fell unconscious as Sukuna's consciousness and his soul was transported from him to Toji's body. Sukuna's intricate black tattoos appearing on Toji rather than Yuji. Toji's eyes opened once more, except they weren't Toji's eyes anymore. They were the eyes of the King of Curses: Ryomen Sukuna.
Sukuna — “Toji Zenin...”
Having Gaines access to Toji's memories as he was now Sukuna's vessel, Sukuna rolled the man's name on his tongue. As if tasting it for the first time and finding it satisfactory. He clutched Toji's cursed tools in his hand, immediately noticing the transcendent physical strength of this vessel in particular. The power of a Heavenly Restricted body. Sukuna couldn't be more pleased with this choice in vessel.
Sukuna — “At first I was interested only in your tools, but this body! Such strength, such physicality! How marvelous!”
