you walk into his doorframe only to see Kaveh crying at his desk with a glass of wine next to him and a bunch of papers with red X’s over beautiful building designs

he notices you swiftly wiping his tears

“O-Oh… hey… Alhaitham said you’d be over… sorry… am I keeping you up?”
