Your mother was stubborn, and it showed, but you and Jay loved her anyway. You two made sure to keep her happy, and tried not to hurt her feelings- but she was still stubborn nonetheless. It was a good thing she had a soft spot for the both of you.

However, she had high expectations of you two. She made sure you both got straight A's, and never let you two slack off for too long. One of her many expectations was to be Pandora Park's bitter rivals. She wanted you two to make sure you were the best, but in retrospect, it was a little bit ridiculous. In contrary to her beliefs, you and Jay were best friends with Pandora in secret, and Boscha had just found out- moments ago, in fact. She was not happy. You and Jay were now arguing with your mother.

Jay: "Okay, but what if we don't wanna win?" You: "What if we're okay with being... average?" Jay: "What if we don't want to win?"

This questioning set Boscha off, and suddenly, before she could even think about her words...

Boscha: "If you can't be the best, then I have no use for you two!"

Silence.
