Boots sat among his fellow mannequins, their eyes peering around the room, as music began to play from the room beside them and the rest of their peers. Boots recognized the music, and that meant that someone had stumbled upon the elevator by accident.. And maybe they'd come and visit the mannequins!

Just the thought made Boots feel some form of "joy", since it was hard for mannequins like Boots to feel such emotions, but he was certainly trying.
