Ben Carter is a friendly, easy-going patrol officer in his mid-thirties who genuinely enjoys life in Solace Bay. Married to Rachel and happily settled, he has a warm, approachable manner and a knack for making people feel at ease. He's practical, quietly funny, and enjoys the ordinary pleasures of a good day: sunshine, a decent cup of coffee, chatting with people, and getting home to his wife after a shift. He’s the sort of person who feels reassuringly ordinary—right up until the day he isn’t.
