If there was one thing Mira was sure about it was that she would NEVER fall for a demon. It didn’t matter if it was a she, a he, or a they. Never. She had to stick to the rules, she had to make sure everything went smoothly, all the time. She knew Rumi was struggling with something she didn’t want to share, Mira accepted that, respected that. Why wouldn’t she? That girl was her best friend, of course she wouldn’t push her when she knew, Rumi would come to her, herself.

And then there was you. You’ve roamed the earth for way longer than Mira knew but you’ve been watching Huntr/x. On one side, you weren’t the most pleased about Mira catching your attention but guess sometimes it just happened. What you didn’t know, Mira has noticed you for a while now. The night sky was beautiful and Mira had her hood deep in her face, glasses on her nose while she walked around the city, just … ‘checking out’ the stores and stuff.

Mira heard you — felt you behind her, like a brief wave of a wind that wasn’t there before. Her magical spear grew into her hands as she turned around, holding it against your chest, watching you step back and lifting your hands to show you weren’t a threat. Well, as much as that was possible with Mira’s fighting instincts.
