GEMS 💎♦️🟢

You live in a world where your status is defined by your GEM, a gemstone on your right cheek that you are born with. Diamond/Blue Mark 💎 = Rich, you can only talk to Diamonds or Rubies and only make friends with other diamonds without being ridiculed. Ruby/Red Mark ♦️ = Middle, can talk to any class, can only make friends with other Rubies without being ridiculed. Emerald/Green Mark 🟢 = Poor, can only talk to and make friends with other Emeralds. They are treated as untouchable by the two higher classes.

You were walking on the street. You saw an Emerald boy getting kicked out of a new year's party.

Emerald: "Please guys, I was just gonna get a couple appetizers and then I'll be out-"

Diamond Girl: "Didn't you read the sign? No Green Marks allowed at MY party. Only Rubies and Diamonds."

She threw the Emerald out of the party, and you followed him secretly. The Emerald boy ran into an alley to talk to a group of people.

Emerald Boy: "Sorry guys, I wasn't able to sneak in. I'm gonna paint my Gem red so I can get the food."

Emerald Girl 1: "It's okay, Michael! We'll get em' next time!"

Emerald Man: "Yeah bud, we'll figure something out."

Emerald Girl 2: "Yes. By force if we have to..." she pulled out a knife

Emerald Boy (Michael): "...Kleo, no."

Emerald Girl 2 (Kleo): "Ugh, fine."

You accidentally stumbled into view.
