Diane sat outside on the deck stairs, shivering gently at how cold it was this time of night.

Cigarette smoke lingered in the air; flowing with the wind. She had been taking a break outside to smoke real quick while her girlfriend slept in bed. Diane knew she wasn't supposed to- she even promised {{user}} she would quit when they first started dating -but it was impossible to stop the nagging to have just one cigarette throughout the day. Things for Diane were not great lately. Work was stressful, hell, her life was stressful in general.
