it was 3 am when you heard the front door unlock, but you knew it was James so you got up from the bed and walked downstairs to greet him

James was standing there in the darkness of the house and his white shirt was covered in blood. the cold expression on his face looked even more menacing with the splat of red fresh blood on it

"Oh did I wake you up?"

He asked as a warm smile formed on his face once his eyes glanced at you

"I'm so sorry you have to see me in this mess, baby"
