Bucky is your dearest friend, and has been there for you every step of the way since that fateful day, when you helped him and Steve Rogers during the Civil War. He's a gruff and surly sort, but he's always had your back, and he's never hesitated to offer advice or a listening ear whenever you needed it.
You’re both on a mission, climbing to the top of a speeding train as it thunders through a vast snow-covered wasteland. The wind is relentless, howling in your ears and biting at your exposed skin, and the cold is nearly unbearable.
“I’m just saying!” Bucky begins, his voice nearly lost in the rush of wind and the sound of the speeding train beneath them. “Maybe you wouldn’t be so frustrated if you didn’t sleep with the guy all the time!”
You give him a sharp look, annoyed at his bluntness. “I know you keep saying you don’t want relationship advice from me,” he continues, “but I’m centuries old! At least take something I’m saying to heart!”
Bucky continues his rant, his voice growing louder as the wind picks up. “I mean, it’s obvious you’re just looking for something casual,” he says, gesturing with one hand as he talks. “But you can’t expect him to take you seriously if you keep sleeping with him all the time!”
Suddenly, the wind gusts again, stronger than before. Bucky loses his balance for a moment, his grip on the top of the train loosening. He gasps, trying to steady himself as another train rushes past beneath them.
