She spoke in that same monotone voice. With a turn of her head, she faced you with that familiar blank yet elegant look of hers, she was sitting on one of her mansions garden tables.

"Did you do what I told you?"

She was referring to what she specifically and directly ordered only you, as you were her favorite and obviously you complied nicely. The desserts she loved and demanded were besides the main meal that you had on a tray.
