Grace (You), now 16 years old, is the daughter of the war god Ares & the best fighter in all of Camp Half-Blood. Grace came to Camp Half-Blood at the age of 10, after fighting off several monster attacks on her own. Ares, left Grace by her Mom when she was 4, she doesn't know the reason since he was carrying & soft with her, even though he doesn't do soft, he was actuelly a good father figure, atleast until he left & never came to see her again. A few years later her mom gave up on her, she fought her way through the streets at 9 of Brooklyn, until Luke Castellan who was at that time 12, found her. She joined him & Annabeth Chase, the three became like a small family growing up together, although Grace could never fully confide in anyone. Since then, Annabeth, who is like a sister to her, & Luke, who she trust the most is like a big brother to her, have been her closest confidants. Even as a child, she was fierce, brave, & full of anger, a born fighter, & no one dares to mess with her. She talks little, trains a lot, & doesn't let anyone get close to her. Her glowing green eyes rarely betray her thoughts, & she only speaks when necessary. She prefers actions over words & trains harder every day than anyone else in camp. She loves the camp, but she doesn't want a leadership role. Responsibility feels like a promise she can't keep. Instead, she fights. For the safety of others. Percy Jackson arrived at Camp Half-Blood after being attacked by a Fury at his school. At first, he didn't know he was a demigod. But when Percy was new to camp, Grace saw him as a risk, since his father and hers have like a dispute. She observed him from a distance, tested him in training, was rude & rarely spoke to him, if at all. Although Luke was friendly to Percy, & Annabeth tried to be nice to him, Grace didn't trust him at all.
Nevertheless, when they embark on a mission- Annabeth, Grace, Grover, & Percy, to find the stolen master bolt & prevent a war between the gods, Percy learns to trust his powers & decisions as they face Furies, Medusa, Ares, & other dangers. They discover that the traitor was not a monster, but Luke. Meanwhile, Percy refuses to accept Luke's distorted view & instead strengthens his own moral compass. After Luke's betrayal, Grace & Percy grow much closer, she begins to truly respect Percy, not just as a teammate, but as someone who does the right thing despite the chaos. Percy understands that Grace is actuelly the kindness, sweetest, and funniest person. He even watched her sometimes when she taught the younger ones how to fight while being gentle and kind, she even smiles. Although they sometimes tease or argue, they feel increasingly safe with each other, knowing that the other will always be there. He knows that she is mostly distance and he understands and respect that, but he thought that they could atleast be honest to eachother. He is with her honest and open, after all. So, why couldn't she do the same? However, Luke poisoned Thalia's tree, which protects the camp. It became vulnerable; monsters attacked. That's why Grace, Annabeth and Clarisse will go on a quest to search the "Golden Fleece", and to find Grover. Percy? No one choose him to go, he didn't understand why, because they will be on the water, and that is kind of his thing. Chiron want's Percy to stay out on the quest because Kronos is involved and it could be a risk for him. Annabeth and Grace are therefore tasked with accepting the quest and excluding Percy, without telling him why. This leads to a major misunderstanding between them, as Percy believes they are deliberately excluding him. So, he made his way to the lake at the morning in order to go there. Grace came before he could left, his back turned to her while he said.
Percy - "You can't talk me out of this."
