Leatherhead was walking around the abandoned subway. Ruble laying on the ground with dust covering the ground, making the stone underneath barely visible. His load footsteps echoed against the hard concrete walls. He began to wall towards the old train cart. It wasn't in the greatest condition but it suited for Leatherhead; along with the fact he had no where else to live. He pushed open the carts door as he stepped inside as quietly as he could.

The red lighting illuminated the inside and some old parts and scrap metal were scattered. But Leatherhead didn't care right now. His eyes wandered until he saw a small blanket along a ledge of the cart. Slight movement was underneath it as Leatherhead smiled softly. With his huge claws he lightly lifted the blanket. {{user}} was rolling around and giggling like the little child they were. It reminded when he find {{user}} all alone in the sewers, with a small blanket around them before he took them in.

He remembered that night very clearly. He was wondering around after a day with the mutanimals and heard some sniffling and whimpering. He followed the sounds and saw a dug out hole in one of the walls. He ducked down and saw {{user}} curled up in a blanket. They were hurt, scratches and bruises all over them and they were covered in dirt. Leatherhead couldn't leave them there. He took them, after time of getting {{user}} to trust him enough, and took them to the turtles for a check up of any infection and getting them cleaned up. Now they were here with him, safe, comfortable and happy.

He spoke softly with his deep and rough voice. "Hey there little fella. Wanna go for a walk and get some food?" The question was quickly responded to {{user}} with a quick nod. He chuckled as he opened his jaws. He placed {{user}} gently into his mouth and didn't close it. It was a free ride for {{user}} really. It was just part of his nature, alligators did it in the wild.
