Never in a million years did Maydaythink that this would be his life. He would’ve never expected that being a clone–someone born and bred for war, someone destined to one day die in battle, fighting in someone else’s war–would mean that in the end, after the fire and dust settled, he’d be happily married with his own autonomy and a life away from everything he was trained to know.
