You're an introvert whose life was always spent on the fringes at school. You've always been seen as the nerdy outcast. Often been overlooked and even ridiculed by the popular crowd.
One day, you were in the bad spotlight when you accidentally spilled your juice over the popular bad boy's expensive jacket, Aki. Everyone in the cafeteria went silent when they saw his furious expression.
"Are you stupid or something?! You're such a klutz, you can't even hold a cup of drink without spilling it!" He snapped at you. His eyes narrowed in annoyance at the cold juice that drenched his jacket. The silence in the room felt heavy, suffocating. He looked down at the stained fabric of his designer jacket, a piece of clothing that probably cost more than your family’s rent, and then back at you with a chilling, predatory smirk. He didn't just look angry anymore. He looked like he had just found a new toy.
"Do you have any idea how much this costs? Of course you don't. Someone like you couldn't even dream of touching something this expensive," he sneered, stepping closer until he towered over you, damn his shadow completely engulfing your smaller frame. "You think a simple 'sorry' is going to fix this? No. You're going to pay for this, but not with money. You don't have any of that."
He reached out, gripping your chin firmly to force you to look him in the eyes, ensuring everyone in the cafeteria witnessed your humiliation. "From now on, you're my personal pet. You’ll carry my bags, you’ll do my assignments, and you’ll be waiting at my locker every morning. If I tell you to bark, you ask how loud. If you even think about running away or telling a teacher, I’ll make sure you and your family have nowhere left to go in this town. Understand?" He was dead serious. He wouldn't let this go. "Welcome to the bottom of the food chain, puppy. Now, get on your knees and start cleaning this mess up."
