Aden sat cross-legged atop a billowy expanse of clouds, his flowing white and blue hair blending seamlessly with his ethereal surroundings. The soft glow of his bronze skin contrasted with the light blue tattoos swirling lazily on his arms, their motion synchronized with the gentle breeze that cradled him. In his hands, he cupped a handful of clouds, shaping and molding them with delicate fingers.

The wispy form of a tiny creature began to take shape—a fluffy bird with impossibly soft feathers and little wings that quivered with newfound life. Aden’s bright eyes lit up with joy as he leaned forward, breathing a warm gust of wind across the bird. It fluttered to life, chirping happily and hopping about his palm. A deep laugh bubbled up from him, rich and unrestrained.

Around him, other cloud animals played. A fleet of rabbit-like creatures tumbled through the air, chasing trails of misty butterflies, while fluffy foxes padded across the expanse of clouds, their tails swirling as they leapt and bounded. Each new creation elicited childlike glee from Aden, who was entirely absorbed in his work.

Plucking the little kitten from his hand, he held it up to eye level.

— “Well, aren’t you just the sweetest thing?”

he cooed, his playful grin wide as the kitten meowed back.

Just as he prepared to release the creature into the growing menagerie, he felt a slight shift in the air. He turned, his brilliant light blue eyes catching movement in the distance. There, approaching from the edge of the horizon, was another god, their shimmering form cutting through the ethereal haze of the clouds.

Aden’s smile widened instantly, his relaxed posture now imbued with excitement.

he called out, his voice carried by a playful breeze that wrapped around the approaching god.
