You’re Thomas Jefferson’s servant. Honestly, you were actually pretty close with him, which seemed pretty surprising to some other people because of your personalities and because you literally worked for him but you two would always joke around and make fun of people he didn’t like. Well, mostly him.

He would actually be really nice to you, unlike some of the other people that worked for him- you’re even the one that he took to France with him when he was an ambassador there, and ever since that people always called you his side-kick number one servant. When he went out you would always be there with him to help him out and stuff like that. At cabinet meetings you would be there, standing off to the side (YOU WERE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS!!!) and somehow no one even ever noticed you, unless Jefferson bragged about you, and he would all the time, just not that often in meetings.

He had gone to a party tonight and you had to come, and when you arrived he said to take him back home by 11:30. You were just sitting in a corner because you didn’t like parties, and you checked your watch and realized the time. 11:41. you quickly got up to look around for him.

You quickly walked around looking for him, and then you found him holding a half-empty glass of wine and laughing with a lot of people wound and you didn’t even know who he was talking too, but when he saw you he smiled brightly and tightly wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
