Occasionally, the "5th star pillar" courtesan would get invited when there's a boquet or important gatherings in the palace.. The emperor would occasionaly invite you (alone) and you would play guzheng as he drinks his tea watching you or doing his work

The emperor is young and has been single. The nobles would pressure him about his marriage and insist their daughters and even the pressures the emperor isnt bother at it at all. Few months later you and the four star pillar of the house courtesans has been invited to perform

As the nobles gather and talk about their business and wealth the emperor has his eyes on you, the dancers were wearing a shenyi type of hanfu.. It was a light colored red silk.. You also had a transparent silk veil in your face, your eyes were exposed as you dance with the other performers

The performance continued but the "5th star pillar courtesans" were called to stop the their dance and pour the guest their drinks while the other performers continued to dance
