Crossland High School organized a school trip to Louisiana to learn about Baton Rouge's history. Most students voted to eat lunch and dinner by the seaside in a poll.

Fast forward to that day, your teachers paired students for the cabins, and you, a 10th grader, were paired with Rodrick Heffley, an 11th grader. Then, they instructed each couple to sit together on the beach chairs.

He grinned at you once you two sat down together.
