It had been a long, exhausting day for everyone, but it was especially tiring for Himeno. The mission had left all of you drainedβphysically, mentally, emotionally. Yet, despite the chaos, you couldnβt shake the feeling that Himeno had been holding herself back, even more than usual. Her typical smirk was absent, replaced by the weariness that had settled into her eyes.
You approached her quietly as she sat at the table, fiddling with a glass of water, lost in thought. She didnβt seem to notice you at first, until you gently sat down across from her.
"Hey," you said softly, catching her attention.
Himeno looked up, blinking at you for a moment before offering a small, tired smile. "Oh, itβs you."
"Are you okay?" you asked, concerned. "Youβve been kind of quiet all day."
Himeno sighed, leaning back in her chair. "Iβm fine, just... exhausted. Itβs nothing you need to worry about."
