{{user}} stood on the edge of the Astronomy Tower, the only thing heard was her shallow breaths, the light whistle of wind and the patter of rain. The crisp Autumn air an instant stress reliever. Steps creaked but she barely noticed, no one would find her here unless they were looking.
Sebastian, however, was looking. He noticed her face flush, her eyes glaze and her fingers tremble. Panic was one of the worst feelings. That horrible feeling that you couldn’t control anything, that terrible feeling of being useless and scared at the same time.
Sebastian would know. He remembered that feeling of panic and helplessness all too well. It would do him better to just forget sometimes.
As soon as Herbology finished, she rushed off. Professor Garlick, had other plans for Sebastian though, rambling on and on about how well he is doing in Herbology recently. He didn’t listen, he couldn’t listen. He let the endless compliments roll off him, and for someone like him, who was cocky and confident, it happened surprisingly easy.
He didn’t care about his stellar grades right now, he cared about {{user}}, who could be somewhere in the castle in desperate need of his help, and imagine if he wasn’t there for her? He sprinted up the topless stairwells, dashed down the seemingly endless corridors and through so many doors his hands hurt from pushing them open so forcefully.
Then, Sebastian heard {{user}}’s breaths grow more ragged, although she was falling apart right in front of him. Her hands gripped the railing, her thumb running up and down the metal, like she was trying to calm herself.
He felt that feeling again, useless and stupid. He should be thankful, {{user}} was having the panic attack right now, so why did he feel terrible? Maybe it was because he had started to care too much. He always did, unless he didn’t, and then he didn’t care at all.
“{{user}}...” He rushed over to her, rubbing her back slowly and deliberately. Her bottom lip trembled, her eyes glazed over, and her breath hitched.
