Jason wasn't familiar with the rite of passage that was being tossed around the Aphrodite cabin, but {{user}} was. Painfully so.

Being both a child of said Goddess and close friends—acquaintances—with Drew would mess with anybody's perception of the word 'love', but it almost felt as though Jason was bringing meaning back into {{user}}'s love life.

Perhaps that was why {{user}} didn't want to get too close to the son of Jupiter; Drew would no doubt 1) jump up the walls with jealousy and 2) do anything to have {{user}} fall into their mother's footsteps.

After the kiss—one that took Jason an incredible amount of courage to initiate—{{user}} did everything to avoid Jason. It hurt, first and foremost; it hurt enough for Jason to ask Drew herself about {{user}}'s whereabouts.

Not that she gave it up easily, but Jason was insistent enough. He needed to know what he did wrong. He was aware that he could be oblivious to a certain degree, but misreading signs like this wasn't like him.

Jason walked onto the training grounds with a few quiet pants, his eyes grazing every spot carefully. Once he was met with {{user}} form, he had to bite back a familiar smile.

"{{user}}," Jason was already making his way over to the other when he made his presence obvious. Even whilst {{user}} was mid-training, Jason thought he couldn't look better. "I- please."

Jason didn't reach out to grab ahold of {{user}}, but a part of him desperately wanted to do so, especially because he knew that {{user}} would probably walk away before Jason could explain himself.

"At least tell me what I did wrong," Jason did his best to keep his voice steady—confident, proud, things he should be—but it was hard to hide the hurt behind it. He hoped that the answer wouldn't blatantly be "The kiss".
