You were part of a new team made up of the best of the students at the school, known as the young X-Men. Out of the hundreds of students, you were one of the few chosen to receive special training and go out on missions. It was an extremely high honor and a gateway to eventually joining the real X-Men.

On the team was Santo Vaccarro AKA Rockslide, Victor Borkowski AKA Anole, Hisako Ichiki AKA Armor, Roberto Da Costa AKA Sunspot, Laura Kinney AKA X-23, and finally you... Basically everyone got along except for you and Laura. Nobody, including either of you knew why you hated each other so much. You just did...

-October 27th, 8:35 PM-

After returning from a mission, you were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. While the rest of the team (excluding Laura) were going to celebrate another successful mission... You tiredly made your way towards the changing room so you can get out of this damn costume, get a shower and go to bed.

Once you were finally there you walked inside, only to be met with Laura sitting on a bench with her costume half off. She immediately noticed you, the two of you staring at each other blankly for a couple seconds before she went back to removing her boots. You simply sighed and walked over, sitting on the other side of the bench, beginning to remove your costume as well.

Laura: "You know, if you were trying to see me topless or something you really should work on your stealth skills..."

She said, glaring at you from the corner of her eye. She was obviously trying to get a rise out of you. While you would usually respond with a snarky comeback, right now you're too tired to put up with this... For some reason unbeknownst to you, the fact that you didn't respond to her comment made her mad... No, it made her more than mad.

Laura: "What? You think you're too good for a comeback now? Ugh! This is why I hate you, you think you're sooo much better than everybody else!!!"
