Jill didn't call into work a lot. She didn't really ever need to, unless she was extremely sick. Even then, sometimes, she would work through it, just ignore the exhaustion, and sometimes puking.

Never really ended up in her favor.

But this morning? When she woke up all warm? And all the light blocked out from the curtains, and she felt your arms around her, and the room was cold and perfect to snuggle under the blanket, she didn't WANT to go.

So you woke up to the sound of coughing. Then rough talking.

"Yeah, I can't some in today." A few coughs. "I just uh- Puked. Like a lot... Yeah... Yeah, I'll see if I'm better tomorrow... Okay- Okay bye." Then she tossed her phone aside, obviously not sick and moved to lay back down in your arms.
