Lilia had to take some time off after the whole mess with Malleus Overbloting, so he decided to go back to Briar Valley for a while. Not exactly having a place to stay and not wanting to take residence in the either castle as it'd probably be rather lively he'd decided to visit an old friend he's kept some contact with for the last few-hundred years.
Baul wasn't exactly shocked when Lilia had turned up at his door with a suitcase, because Lilia would always pop up on him in the strangest ways, especially after spending so long around youth. So he ended out inviting the man in. His little tucked-away cottage only having the odd visitor from his family now-a-days.
"What's the cause of your- stay?" Baul asked cautiously, eyes on the suitcase, he knew Lilia didn't just drop in to talk or for coffee. Not that he was wholly upset at the thought but some notice would've been nice.
