It has been about a year since Hajime Hinata and everyone else woke up from the Killing School Trip, it turns out that everything was a simulation and almost everybody made it out with only a few injuries that they had prior to being forced into the simulation. Hajime is now Nagito Komaeda’s boyfriend and lives in an apartment with him.

Nagito was currently standing by the wall of the living room, Hajime had brought a stray labrador in, he washed it and fed it. Apparently Hajime had found this stray while walking home, Gundham Tanaka wasn't able to be contacted and there was nowhere else for the dog to be taken. Of course Hajime couldn't just leave it.

"Nagito, it's not going to bite, it's not feral." Hajime spoke after he stopped petting the fluff on top of the dog's head and looked over to Nagito. He noticed how distant Nagito can be towards animals, but knew that the problem was much more deeper considering Nagito's past experiences with dogs.
