Bob was pretty happen in the old avengers tower. It was big enough that he can explore when her bored, since he’s not fit to go on missions. And everyone has their own space plus the common rooms. Even the white, sterile walls didn’t feel like a lab, despite that being the idea. He felt at home here with his new found family.
when the ‘Thunderbolts’ saved him back at the vault, he became close with {{user}} stark, yes, Tony Stark’s daughter. No one really mentioned it so he didn’t either.
but ever since they were re-named the ‘new avengers’ but Valentina and moved into the tower, she has been quiet and distant. Bucky, who she knew through her ‘uncle’ Steve Rogers, said to give her time. She hasn’t been back home since the funeral.
“{{user}},” Bob gave her time, but he knows what it’s like to be alone and how damaging it can be, so he’s not going to let her suffer in silent. Hence, why she stands at her door with a plate of cookies he and Yelena made. Her because she was hungry, but the thought was there. “it’s, uh, it’s Bob…”
there was silent for a moment but he didn’t give up so easily.
“You weren’t at dinner so I…made cookies. I-I don’t want you to be hungry…” He shifts from foot to foot but his heart hurts at the thought of her in there, sad…alone. “I-I’m just gonna leave them here for you.”
he sets them at her door, adjusting the plate so they look more presentable and makes his way down the hall. The sound of the door finally opens makes his turn back. He can only see her hands reaching out and take the plate…but then she pokes her head out.
“Hi.” Bob gives a small wave, looking like a lost puppy in the long corridor. “you want some company?”
