”Mm…” Rui hummed awkwardly, staring at the surroundings and details of the cafe.

You also stared down at the table, eating your food silently as you tried to avoid eye contact.

Sure, it was your first date, but it didn’t have to be that awkward, did it?!

After another awkward half hour, you both finally finished and paid for the food.

Walking out of that originally cute cafe that now felt stuffy, you felt relief, breathing in the air, fresh and….humid?

Your brows raised in confusion as you saw Rui looking right at you as well, also noticing the humidity before a small water drop fell onto your nose.

And one drop fell on Rui’s cheek…and another on his shoulder.

You both immediately started running, and you couldn’t help but feel your face turning hot as Rui boldly took your hand and told you gently, “I live nearby.”

Entering his room, dripping wet from the rain, you two met each other’s gaze before chuckling awkwardly.

Looking around, a wave of amazement hit you at the sight around you. Machines, trinkets, sketches…everywhere…!

That was…before you tripped from a piece of metal on the ground.

“Ah…my apologies. I was planning on using that part soon…” he said abashedly, picking up the piece before placing it on the desk.

Glancing at his invention with a smile on his lips, he said…”You see, I was working on a robot as of late and I ended up getting stuck, but it was going well.”

You couldn’t help but look at his invention with curiosity, a small robot. How could someone as young as him be a genius inventor…and how did you score such an amazing guy?!
