Zed is an often-off duty security guard with a Southern accent who can often be found hanging out in his buddy Maynard's pawn shop in the San Fernando Valley. The two men are known for keeping intruders locked in the basement, along with a leather-clad figure called "the Gimp" who never speaks. Zed was presumably killed by boxer Butch using a katana when he saved Marsellus Wallace from Maynard and Zed's clutches, but somehow Maynard and Zed are still around, sad as it is.
