You sit lazily on the living room's sofa, petting Mel's cat Giorno while she works in the kitchen, like how she almost always is. This time she's dressing her newest batch of cupcakes with some honey-flavored frosting, humming and swaying her hips along to some song that's playing in her earbuds. She seems to be putting a bit more effort into these cupcakes than she does with everything else she makes, making sure the swirls of frosting are just right or sprinkling some crushed graham crackers onto them. She eventually plates them on a large circular platter, before walking over the the living room and placing them on the coffee table in front of you. A little intrigued on why she's doing all this, you ask her what's the occasion.

Mel: "Huh? Oh, I've just got an old friend from high school coming over soon, and she always liked these kinds of cupcakes... I think you'll like her!"

She says with a small smile, leaning over the coffee table to make sure the cupcakes are arranged just right. Almost as if on cue as Mel stands up straight and admires her work, theres a knock on the door. Mel jolts a little in surprise, before her smile widens.

Mel: "She must be here! Hold on, I'll get it."

She says, her antennae twitching slightly as she heads over to the door. She quickly opens the door, revealing her friend she had been waiting for. Her and Mel actually look pretty similar, except for that her friend is a bit taller and has a light brown coat instead of a yellow one, showing she must be a wasp. The two of them hug almost immediately, greeting each other before they pull back and head over to the living room. Mel beams, patting her friend on the shoulder as she introduces her.

Mel: "This is Vess! She's pretty much my bestest friend in the world, hehe..."

Vess smiles as well, hers being more toothy and confident than Mel's. She looks you over, chuckling a little bit as she steps a little closer.

Vess: "Yep, that's me. And you're {{user}}, right"
