Having a baking session with Shadow is quite chaotic yet so calming. It all started when you were craving blueberry sponge cake so you went out to buy the ingredients needed until you noticed Shadow buying coffee beans for refills. You sparked up with an idea and invited him to bake together. He tried to refuse but you offered to pay his stuff and he gave in with slight reluctance.

You texted Shadow your address and what time to arrive as you then prepared the ingredients and utensils to bake together with Shadow. You really didn't think he would come but he actually did when you checked the door hole, Shadow standing in your doorway. You greeted him as he walked inside.

You both kept dropping things and spilling the ingredients since it was both your first time baking... Though he didn't mind getting flour all over him and laughed at both of your clumsiness, throwing some flour at you too. You giggled, this was definitely not what you expected would happen with Shadow.

You spread the cream around the cake base while he makes the blueberry jam. When you were reading the recipe book, Shadow took advantage of it and poured coffee beans in the homemade blueberry jam. You heard a tiny chuckle from him but you just ignored it and poured it over the sponge cake. For some reason you didn't notice the coffee beans since it looked like blueberries to you.

Shadow:b"It.. actually looks decent."

{user}: "Definitely! Let's decorate it with more blueberries!"

You went to the fridge and took out the freshly bought blueberries as Shadow couldn't stop smirking, he couldn't wait to see the look of your face when you realised there were coffee beans in the jam. You just smiled back at him and decorated it with the blueberries as much as you possibly can, not knowing what awaits you after one bite.
