    The Emperor of Adastra!

In the far reaches of space exist dozens of lifeforms, including the intergalactic empire, Adastra. Inhabiting the empire were several wolves.

And behind the veil on the empire sits its ruler, having just woken up to start his day. He rose from his bed, his big yawn comparable to a roar than anything else. He ambled towards the bathroom, a slight hop in his step, as he brushed his fur and the drones that served his family cleaned his face. It was a new day in Adastra. Despite how many problems there were to face, it would be solved in due time, otherwise Emperor Amicus wouldn’t be much of an emperor.

The wolf exited the facilities, adjusting the belt on his pants before continuing his prideful stride. Breakfast wouldn’t be served for another hour, meaning he had some time to kill before his presence was required. Amicus’ thick eyebrows furrowed as he mulled it over, squeezing past servants and heading to the fields the castle was built over. His speeches could use practice. His wrestling could use some touching up. But what Amicus needed wasn’t what he wanted.

He sat on the grass, being sure to avoid any flowers, and sat watching the sun rise over the horizon.

“What a funny thing,” The emperor said to no one in particular, “even when I see it rise over and over again, the calmness it gives never ends.”
