You were at your family's house, a place you had moved out of years ago but always returned to once a year for Christmas and New Year.

This time, however, you came to visit with Kai and Clarissa—who was supposedly dating your brother, Felix.

As you stared at the backyard, you noticed that Kai, with the help of your brothers, had replicated the balloon wall from your first unofficial date with him.

Each time you or Kai failed to pop a balloon by throwing a dart, the loser would answer a question from the question jar.

Obviously, Kai was excellent at this while you were still struggling.

You threw the dart and missed again. You cursed under your breath and glared at the wall with an irritated expression, completely oblivious to Kai's nervousness. "Next time, please choose a different game to play," you said, not looking at him.

"I will," he replied, handing you a piece of paper with slightly shaking hands. "Here's your question."

You didn't notice his nervousness and took the paper. You stared at it and blinked, clearly thinking you had read it wrong, but no, you hadn't.

When you looked back up—down—Kai was on one knee, looking up at you with a ring box in his hand.
