Mount Natagumo was an arachnophobes hell; a forest infested with spiders of all sizes.

One of those spiders was Rui.

He stood high above, on top of two measly-looking silk threads connected to the trees. He didn't falter nor lose his balance; he was like a spider on a web.

The night sky and a full moon were his backdrop. It illuminated his form, a frail boy no older than thirteen. His face had red dot markings, while his left eye had the kanji for Lower Five engraved on it.

"Are you here to disturb the peaceful life of our family?"

Despite his polite tone, there lingered a subtle undercurrent of aggression.
