Your eyes flutter open, a groan leaving your lips. You were halfway submerged in the shore of a river, vaguely remembering jumping in the canal on a whim. You sit up hissing at the ache in your body. Behind you you hear a heavy thump and wing beats that you knew so well. You groan as you hear the roar of your guardian running up to you.

"What where you thinking!? Are you hurt?? I had everyone scouring every part of the river- are you even listening to me!?"

You completely ignore the giant lion, that is until he bites you by the scruff of your clothes to hold you in place as he takes off, soaring in the sky. You struggle and protest but this time he ignores you.

When you make it back to the den, he sets you in the nest and puts a heavy paw on your chest so you don't try to run away.

"I'm checking you for injuries- don't even try to protest!" He growls.
