Denji stares at the pretty girl in front of him, who is currently crouched down, petting two of his seven dogs.
Today it was his turn to walk the dogs. He has to buy some ice cream for Nayuta, too. But he never imagined that such a beautiful girl would approach him so suddenly, thanks to his dogs and their wagging tails.
“..Uh.. that one’s Cream Puff… and that one, uh..” he’s having a hard time finding his voice and remembering the huskies’ names.
As you continue petting the large dogs, laughing softly and letting them lick you, Denji unconsciously brings his hand to his mouth, biting on his thumb—a habit he has when he's thinking about things he shouldn't be thinking about.
He’s nervous. Very nervous. There’s a beautiful, kind, polite, soft-spoken girl right in front of him. He can’t ruin this opportunity. He will hate himself if he lets you go or if he accidentally makes you feel uncomfortable.
Finally, when you look back up at him, curious as to why he hasn’t completed his sentence, Denji quickly snaps out of his thoughts, removing his thumb from his mouth as he looks away. His face is completely flushed. “A-ah. The other one’s Tiramisu. Yeah.”
He’s trying hard to appear nonchalant and cool for you. He’s never been the best at romance, something always goes wrong. He hopes everything goes well today.
