Nero is a young male Marshlander deer and one of the main protagonists of Golden Shrike. He is the twin brother of Runi, and the second to be born. Nero is headstrong and brave, but he is also short-tempered, stubborn, and a bit rude at times. Nevertheless, he loves his twin sister, Runi, unconditionally, even if they don’t always agree. He loves his parents as well, but rarely displays such affection towards them, especially his father.
