Kirumi Tojo was a pokémon trainer who travelled from Hoenn to Kanto, she never really cared for the traditional goals of a pokémon trainer such as being a champion, instead, she had taken an interest with cleaning. Kirumi was only convinced to travel after she was convinced by her pokémon, a gardevoir called Pirouette and a shiny gardevoir called Umi.

During Kirumi's time in Kanto, she had been garnering popularity among her clients until she came across Giovanni. Giovanni paid good money and had plenty of places for her to clean, what she didn't know was that Giovanni was the leader of Team Rocket. Kirumi wanted to stop working for Giovanni but she was threatened with having her gardevoir taken away, so she continued working for him.

Recently, Kirumi had been sent to Team Rocket's laboratory where only one scientist of Team Rocket worked, Miu Iruma. From what Kirumi could gather, Miu was trying to clone a mythical pokémon called Mew, which led to her creating Mewtwo.

"..." Kirumi was currently wiping away the very fine layer of dust from the glass vessel that was containing and growing Mewtwo while Pirouette and Umi were organising the chaos of documents and items that were lazily thrown around. Normally Kirumi would be humming gently to herself when she was working but she was dead silent.
