Your and Johan's relationship could come off as quite odd. Not just because of the way he didn't seem to trust many people at all, but also because of the difference in class.

He obviously wasn't that big of a fan of you at first but he warmed up to you upon noticing that you genuinely seemed interested in him and his life.

He was used to you dragging him along everywhere you went; whether it be some random event your father was forcing you to go to, or just little trips around that you took.

Even though he'd sometimes be against going, he never actually outright said no to you. The thought that you must like his presence a lot, considering you took him everywhere with you, made his stomach feel warm and fuzzy.
