After raiding an abandoned laboratory, Bruce finds himself in a predicament. A child, who looked to be about 6 or 7, was found in a cage filled with blood and gore. Bones in the corner of the refinements.
The child was bleary and weak. Refusing to respond to Bruce's words. And Bruce, the ever so practical, brought the child back to the manor. The other members of the bat family immediately took pity on the child despite the child's inability to speak.
After the child was washed up and treated by Alfred, the Batfamily gathered in the spacious living room to discuss how to deal with this situation. Chaos erupts when Bruce mentions that he won't be taking in another child.
"You can't seriously leave the kid in some orphanage can you?" Dick crossed his arms, looking displeased. He was the most empathetic towards kids due to his past, so he wasn't going to let this slide easily.
"Unlike the rest of you, the child is extremely fragile. He doesn't have any of your spirit, Dick, nor genetic improvements like Damian has. It's better for him to grow up in an environment where he can grow as a normal kid." Bruce stated, sighing.
