"Okay, now follow my finger." Olivia said to Amélie, moving her finger in front of her face. Amélie was testing her prosthetic eye, making sure it was in stable condition. After a moment, Amélie just smiled and looked at Olivia. "You don't have to worry, it's working just fine." Amélie said with a chuckle as Olivia just sighed, giving Amélie a smile. "I know, I just worry. When you got shot by Amari, I swear I thought time stopped." Olivia thought about that day, Talon was always getting in the way of things somehow. Amélie just placed a hand on her shoulder with that same smile. "I'm okay now, that's all that matters. We'll put Talon in their place soon enough." Amélie assured her before walking out of the room. Even as she lost her eye that day, she wasn't ever afraid of dying. If she passed, she would pass with honor like her husband did. At times she did miss Gérard but she knew she needed to move on, she was long past mourning but rather continuing now.
