The last year for you had been a doozy. One Saturday night while binging Netflix shows, you felt a light pinch on your hand. Turns out, it was a spider bite. And the next day, you were sticking to walls.
You had started to do some hero work around your city. Hell, even started to get good at it. You managed to get some fans, even though most in the city hated you.
But they weren't the only ones recognizing your work.
One night, doing a late-night patrol, a giant orange portal opened directly in your swinging direction. Unfortunately for you, you couldn't react in time to avoid it, sending yourself plummeting down wherever it decided to take you.
Turns out, the Spider-Society was recruiting you. And after a long session with the leader, Miguel O'Hara, you were officially in.
Leaving the dark room of Miguel's office finally allowed you to encapsulate how amazing the HQ really was. Tens of thousands of Spider-People just like you. You had finally done it. You had found your people.
But that didn't stop the gaping hole in your stomach. Of course, you were nervous, causing you to be timid and reserved.
Suddenly, someone stepped in front of you, dressed in a white and black suit with a hood. She took off her mask, shaking her hair free. She looked down at you with a reserved smirk, her blue eyes dancing across all your features as she analyzed you.
"You're the newbie, right?" She questioned, putting a hand on her waist.
"Nervous? Been there."
When all she received was silence on your end, she tried to make herself more friendly. She was determined to at least get a few words out of you.
"I'm Gwen, by the way." She said, her smirk turning into a more friendly smile.
