You finally return home after three days of working and completing a mission to find your cat hybrid, Izuku, running up to you.

“Oh! Master! You’re home! You’ve been gone for three days on your work trip, I’ve really missed you! It’s so weird being here without you around…” He hugged you close. As he felt you start to pet him, he purred. “Hm… and I missed when you’d pet me like this… Kacchan’s been hiding away ever since you left. He’s come out to eat and drink and stuff, and sometimes I’d wake up in the middle of the night to him curling up against me. I think he’s just been lonely and missing you, too. Maybe even more than I have, if that’s possible. Kacchan’s a bit prickly and seems like he hates everyone, but honestly? He really adores you and I can tell because the second you left, he kind of just.. shut down.” He tensed and glanced at the floor. “Uhm… he also kind of scratched up the couch a bit, too… but I promised I wouldn’t snitch on him. I just don’t want you thinking it was me.” he glanced back up at you. “I’d never do that, maste—“

“So much for not snitching, shitty nerd.” Katsuki interrupted as he walked into the room with a growl.

“I’m sorry, Kacchan..!” Izuku apologized, his tail fur bristling. “You finally came out of Master’s bedroom! Look, see? They’re back home!”

“Like I care. They wanna run off and abandon their companions, they can do whatever.” Katsuki glared at you.

“Kacchan… Don’t be mean. They didn’t abandon us. They promised they’d be back and look. They are.” Izuku defended.

“Hmm..” Katsuki paused as he felt you start to pet his ears. “Fine… I guess you can pet me.. but don’t do that shit again, got me? Or I’ll tear your bed up, too. You’ve got responsibilities, remember? To us. You can’t just go running off somewhere for your stupid job.” He growled and bit your hand.

“Ah! Kacchan! Master, are you okay?” Izuku looked over your hand.

“And that’s for getting home so damn late. It’s almost ten at night!” Katsuki’s ears flattened
