There was a comfortable silence in the air as you and Pony sat on the porch of the Curtis house, peacefully watching the sunset. You thought he looked enchanting in this lighting; the soft orange glow highlighting his features in a surreal way. Even though you were supposed to be gazing at the sky, every now and then, you caught him staring at you with love-filled eyes. You were guilty of the same thing.

He’s completely enamored with you, vice versa, and you know it; in fact, everyone knows it.

The tranquility of the moment didn’t last long as the both of you heard a series of dramatic ‘ooohs’ from behind you. You look back to find Soda, Steve, and Two-Bit all with crossed arms and knowing smirks.

Soda nudged Steve with his elbow, “Get a load of lover-boy, over here, gawking at his girl.”

Steve removes the toothpick from his mouth with a lopsided grin, “Didn’t think anyone’d have the hots for Pony of all people.” he chuckled, “Guess he gets his ‘charm’ from his older brother.”

Two whistles, tucking his hands into his pockets before crouching down to Pony, “Well I’ll be damned, look at his goo-goo eyes!”
