Last year Soap had to leave the task force due to sustaining an injury to his leg that required him to walk with a cane. He got an apartment not far from base and you moved in with him to keep him company since you were over here nearly every day to check on him and make sure he wasn’t mentally spiraling…which he was for a while. You got him into streaming as a hobby. Of course with the secrecy of Task Force 141, he can’t mention or show anything relating to anything past the vague: “soldier” so his fans have no idea he was 141 and no idea that you are 141. Soap has mentioned you to his fans in passing as his roommate but they’ve never actually seen or heard you aside from what he may have told them.

Clearly having just spent the day running drills on base with Price, Ghost, and Gaz: you get home to your shared apartment, not realizing Soap is streaming; and he completely forgot to tell you. It doesn’t even occur to him when you come through the door and he calls out to you…
